Corporation (EEC) is shaping the future of the entire
weather sensing industry by combining the strengths of
wide area and single-point meteorological sensors into
integrated systems that improve the accuracy of the
entire data set.
The EEC product line offers a total weather system that
includes the basic radar data acquisition hardware (transmitter,
receiver, and antenna), a full compliment of signal and
data processing equipment, automatic surface and hydrological
stations, and related facilities and services required
for optimal performance in a variety of environments
and operational missions. Additionally, our Air/Sea Monitoring
Systems offers a wide variety of Automatic Weather Stations
(AWS) and Tide Monitoring equipment, which can be integrated
with any one of EEC's weather radar systems.
Engineering
Our engineering staff continually develops
engineering designs that keep the EEC product line
at the leading edge of technology. Developmental improvements
in signal processing, the EDRP-9 Digital Receiver, the
DWSR 8501S/K S-Band Klystron Radar System, the DWSR-2501K/C
C-Band Klystron Radar System, the Mega Doppler 10001C Megawatt
C-Band Doppler Weather Radar System, and improvements
in Ethernet connectivity are all products developed by
EEC's skilled engineering staff over the past several
years.
Our team of computer experts provides software solutions
that take full advantage of the data gathering power
of our radars. These
professionals develop the analysis and display tools
that help make our weather radar the world’s foremost
commercial ground-based radar sensor. Our EDGE professional
analysis software and our
Weather
Windows display software are some of the software tools
we offer. Upgrades and new products are always in development.
A complete in-house drafting department turns our design
innovations into dynamic 3-D roadmaps to guide our
production. Because turnaround is always an issue, improvements
developed
during the manufacturing process can be quickly and accurately
implemented.
Manufacturing
Our complete electronic assembly department has the
flexibility to build either production or prototype circuit
boards, wiring harnesses and sub-assemblies. Each component
is fully tested before final system assembly. By building
our own components, pedestals and antennas we can be
sure these critical subsystems live up to our specifications.
Because we do this work in-house, it is easy for us to
quickly provide the exact configuration to meet your
requirements.
Our in-house machine shop has the capability
to quickly and accurately provide systems that can
be made exactly
to your requirements.
Each system is fully assembled and tested, including
pedestal, antenna, and all subsystems prior to shipment. The factory
antenna
range guarantees that your system will be perfectly matched.
Each system is carefully marked and crated for shipping.
The on-site installation supervisor takes personal involvement
in the shipping process so he or she knows exactly "what’s
what" when the system arrives at your location.
Support Services
Each system comes complete with an extensive set of
operation and maintenance manuals. The manuals are custom
made to exactly represent the system purchased. The
manuals include system checkout data and a complete set
of schematic
diagrams. A complete copy of each system's manuals is permanently maintained
at EEC.
EEC provides complete system training on site during
the installation process and also provides on-site or
factory training to meet specific requirements.
