Radsys 3000 is the newest generation of EEC's Radsys
radar control and imaging software. It provides complete
radar control, spectacular images presentation, generation
of sophisticated meteorological products, and includes
data archival, automatic system calibration and advanced
Built-In-Test-Equipment (BITE) monitoring. Because it was
developed under Microsoft Windows, Radsys 3000 is very
affordable and easy to use. A PC powers the familiar Windows
environment through simple, pull-down menues and point
and click commands. Effective radar and product-generation
control is essential for accurate analysis of radar data.
Radsys 3000 runs the radar antenna at a single tilt, or
steps it through various volume scans. An operator can
view real-time images of reflectivity, velocity, or turbulence
on a PPI or RHI plane or schedule generation of more advanced
products like Constant Altitude PPIs, Echo Tops, or Movie
Loops.
Radsys 3000 imaging is robust. In addition to 16.7 million
vibrant colors, Radsys 3000 supports split screen presentation
of imagery. Combined with a built-in Ethernet and Internet
capability, Radsys data can go anywhere. EEC's radars are
built to endure; however, when parts wear out, the Radsys
3000 advanced BITE monitoring quickly isolates the problem
and reduces downtime. Radsys 3000 is the best choice for
the cost-conscious buyer and is a logical upgrade for operators
struggling with obsolete computers or old software.
