with EEC Power Doppler 3501C. A radar system with state-of-the-art
design including: a digital receiver, solid-state modulator
and a choice of full-featured control and display systems.
We ELIMINATE virtually all false echoes and GROUND CLUTTER
from the radar screen, leaving a clean and true picture
of the rain and wind.
The Power Doppler 3501C Radar System opens an electronic "window" that
permits visualization of the internal structure of
severe weather phenomena. You and your viewers will
actually "see the wind". Wind has both speed
and direction that are accurately measured by the Power Doppler 3501C.
Using these critical parameters, the Power Doppler 3501C can
detect both destructive winds and tornado rotation,
in real time, at distances that permit warnings before
a deadly strom strikes. While others waste time sifting
through short range turbulence data, you can offer
the most TIMELY and ACCURATE storm "warnings" possible,
in time to make a difference.
Nearly all tornadoes and severe weather events can
be detected with Doppler radar. And, when combined
with EEC sophisticated data analysis software, our
Doppler systems can extend the lead time for public
warnings tenfold or more when compared to conventional
weather radar.
