We are excited and pleased to announce a major change in our Weather Windows radar display software.
Until recently, Weather Windows has been operating on the SGI 02, which, as most of you know, is obsolete with very limited capabilities. Now, WW has been ported to a PC Linux platform, performing up to 20 times faster than the old 02 . The new environment gives us the foundation to begin adding new products and features and the opportunity to improve and provide the kind of upgrade path many of you have been asking for. Your input is important to us, so contact Gary Bruce or Ron Killpack for any ideas on products and or features that you would like to see that will help keep you dominate in your market. Weather Windows will still have the ability to interface to third party displays, giving you access to all of the tools you need to keep your audience informed in severe weather. In conjunction with the new features development we are implementing a new era of customer support that includes both hardware and software maintenance agreements to help you stay on the air at full capability.
